As CEO, Peter is in charge of the daily management and tactical implementation of the company’s strategic objectives. Prior to Alkemy, Peter served as the head of international expansion for nSphere Inc.
Peter holds a B.A. in Political Science from Suffolk University.
He has also been awarded as one of the waste industry's top 40 under 40 leaders, is a Techstars alum, serves as an advisor to several start-ups, sits on the board of Opinion S.A, and is a member of the Forbes Boston business council.
Dr. Bethanis is the inventor of the Alkemy waste recycling solution. She has been involved in the research and development of high value-added products, from waste and natural materials for over ten years. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of London. Additionally, Dr. Bethanis holds an MSc in concrete structures and a doctorate degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine.
During her post-graduate studies she was awarded for her dissertation on High Performance Concrete and has served as a university lecturer on the subject.
Dr. Swan has been a researcher and innovator in the waste reuse sector for over three decades. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Alkemy's engineering team.
Dr. Swan received a Doctor of Science (ScD) degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from MIT and both a Bachelor (BS) and Master (MS) of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. Prior to obtaining his ScD. Dr.Swan worked for GZA Geoenvironmental, Inc., a national engineering consulting firm specializing in geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering projects.
Bill has previously worked as an executive for many Fortune 100 industrial companies. He brings comprehensive experience in multi-plant operations, business strategy, lean supply chain, global sales management, and industrial technology commercialization to Alkemy.
Bill holds a Masters of Science in technology commercialization from the University of Texas Austin and a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering from Rutgers University.
